Phoenix - Rust metallic. Lime Crime Venus 2 Swatches. Like the Venus on the front, the colors here are more grungier, more punk than the original. The colors are beautifully pigmented, and blend well. I can see this working on a wide range of skin tones, and although it is not as pigmented as some of the other shades, the color is very buildable and would work great for the eye crease or as a transition shade. This is also my favorite, even though it's rather difficult to blend out.

Kayla says: Both have 18 shades. A safer bet would be the original, but if you want to invest in colors you probably won't have in any other palette in your collection, the Venus 2 is for you. That had many people disappointed, but I do think that that is selling the palette short. Where the original featured mainly rusts and earth tones, this palette has an unconventional mix of grays, blacks, earthy tones and a sky blue. BOOT: At first glance, Boot appears to be a black shadow with specks of purple glitter. It has nothing to do with the eyeshadow quality. To create these looks I split the palette into three parts: warm tones, green tones, rosy tones. Venus 2 is more bold and 'out there', and great for creating looks that stand out. It looks marble and I guess that marble print makes it look neat and sleek. Encased in an über-cool, kitschy treasure trove, the grey-blue and reddish-brown hues bestow grungy glamour for super-chic eye looks. You know I like using every shade in the palette for my reviews and today we are doing just that again.

Though the Venus Immortalis palette may be dark and sultry, the future is certainly bright for Lime Crime — and this ending will undoubtedly mean more doors (and collections) opening in the future. The outer lid shows some very vibrant, almost neon colors and those you do not get inside the palette. There is a mixture of eighteen mattes, foils, metallics and iridescents and the shades inside include, top to bottom, left to right; * In Bloom - Muted rose matte. These blend out beautifully and I like how the shimmers in the palette range from super intense metallics to more glittery topper like shades. Standard delivery £6. If you know of a dupe, be the first to submit one. All in all I'm raving about this palette even though there are some disadvantages about it. Creation (rust brown matte). All of the shades are nice to work with. It's missing a good transition shade, but I found that the formula is blendable enough that I could make a gradient without one. Both are beautiful, both as keepsakes for the packaging and the high-quality product. Shell (opalescent shell-pink glow). Yes I understand why people would say that, but this palette is simply light and more cool toned rather than deep and warm toned. The colors are so unconventionally different.
MARSH: An olive green shade with a hint of gold, this earthy, playful color is one I can see myself wearing from day to night. This just isn't made for people with warm undertones and if you are deeper than a medium/ tan skin tone you may struggle with this showing up as nicely as it does on me.
