I Think Of Ending Things
This turns Sophie into a pariah, replete with death threats and the usual internet trolling. I managed to read The Idea of You in under two days because I seriously could not put it down, especially once Solène and Hayes' relationship is aired to the world. Like me, other fans of The Idea of You are not happy, and they had no problem expressing their feelings on Twitter with the hashtag #DontRuinTheIdeaofYou attached after the press release came. At least I don't think I did. For example; if you're writing seven A4 pages in word with Times New Roman 11 or 12, for twenty chapters, then by the end of your story, once you've converted it in to your desired book layout, you will have a nice sized novel that will feel worthy of sale. That said, I genuinely had no idea what this book was about, and was henceforth not prepared for the intense reading experience and onslaught of emotions that this book brought out in me (in the best way possible). Make sure you consider very carefully whether the question or conflict you have posed to your reader has been satisfactorily resolved. It's your reader's last impression of your book, and it will do exactly that – last.

And the fact that her daughter has NO clue what her own mother is up to (dating the very band member that she loves the most). Basically, every central conflict is caused by the age difference between the pair and how that age difference, not to mention that Hayes is the most famous boy band member on the planet, affects a lot going on in Solène's life. I'll admit, the minute I heard older woman/rock star, I was excited!! Keep the freshness alive: We all know how Cinderella's story ends – but if you see the plethora of movies inspired by the fairy tale, you'll see each of them is fresh. I wonder what happiness looks for them both and if they will ever cross paths again. Despite the obvious physical connection, we knew there was more, and as we delved deeper into Hayes persona, it all became clear. R. : …I swear it's like book crack. She said: There are a lot of fears and doubts that come with being loved. When the film does come out, it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. I couldn't help but love Solène and Hayes despite their flaws. If you are writing sci-fi you may have a little more leeway here, but overall, the advice still holds. Erica said the book had magnetism and I totally agree. Wait for that spark! Not the ill-advised sex with the just out of his teens pop star, but the cuddling. Now if only the producers would pay attention to the readers.
