I borrowed and later purchased this Holton and have found it to be quite interesting. But in a solo or chamber music situation where a lighter tone would work well a single B-flat could be a great choice. It is worth pointing out that there is also a Triple Horn which has yet another set of tubing to assist in the higher register.
