I did a Where The Wild Things Are photo shoot for my friends sons first birthday! Cake Smash Sessions come with the option to add on a mini outdoor component to the session. To make things even more exciting for me was to find out that Connor's nursery was Where the Wild Things are themed. We shot in Millard Canyon, a gorgeous spot in Altadena with a babbling stream and dappled forest light. The lights were turned off and the singing began. It's a lot of fun and you definitely get a ton of beautiful images to choose from and love! This is what guests saw when they entered and exited - I borrowed the bark vase from a friend and included a photo from our Wild Things photo shoot. And anyone who follows my work knows I love a strong theme. One of my favorite parts was how he completely demolished the cake!
