I apologise that this review is rather vague on the whole but the nature of a mystery is, well, just that, and it wouldn't be very mysterious if I start dishing out the spoilers. I didn't find them or the way that they told their story in the least bit compelling and also some of it was so disjointed and unrealistic that it sort of pulled me away from the story and what could have been a great sense of action. And because of this, The Taking of Annie Thorne deserves a 8/10 star rating from me. As the days went by, Joe became aware that something was just not right with Annie. I really liked the interplay between Joe and his old school friends as their past relationship is gradually revealed. More than that, the mine has been eradicated.
