Regardless, the fact that you have not experienced the problem the OP is having does not make his problem invalid. Keep checking it by flicking it up. Inspect the followers in all your mags and see if you can narrow it down to a specific revision of follower. Some may not appreciate that, or may simply be trolling. You've expressed your concern over the OP's method of testing his pistol. Mags used were Magpul and Amend 2 brands. The base of your palm/thumb appears to be right where the slide stop is. I know its an 80%, but the pistols seem hard to screw up and I really don't think its super likely that this was my fault in drilling incorrectly somehow. Rumor has it they do a little better with HP bullets. That said - as mentioned - there was not a single issue when I was running 115GR ammo. I know some barrels can run "tight" from what I have heard, I am not sure if the alphawolf has this problem. OP, consider that there may be some slide to frame "ride height" difference between a genuine Glock frame and the P80. Do I need to polish the barrel lugs, or change anything in their geometry? I have issues with 147 gr. Smaller guns are just finicky-er as they don't have a lot of slide mass. I was loading 147's to 115 OAL which worked fine in my SIGs. Planning to do so after work today. The Glock has a slightly tighter chamber and would do what you describe, stopping just short of battery and I had to pry the slide back to clear the round. Which why the heck would you assume that? I don't shoot Remington or Winchester. Take a factory glock and run the same test, gently follow the slide home and you'll feel the resistance when the trigger bar depresses the firing pin safety. Blazer brass, sig fmj, sig v crown, am eagle, Speer gold dots both 115 and 124, zero issues.

My other Glock pistols have the standard (flat) one, even on my G34. My p80 did this as well and it turned out my firing pin safety plunger spring came out of the cup and was causing trouble. There's a guy on youtube called Tactical Tool or something that has a pretty good troubleshooting guide as well as how to fix it. Glock went through a ton of different follower profiles for 9mm in the last decade. Since he apparently doesn't have a firing pin safety spring problem then my best guess is that his connector has too much outward angle on it. Don't settle on this by assuming everything is ok and the gun will work with higher quality/heavier ammo. Thanks Silencerco for sending me a new barrel quickly but I did not have to put it in. The gun should function flawlessly with any type of pecially Glock needs to make it right. It's a 19 frame and 17 slide. 5 # connector polished everything I cut 1 coil off of the plunger spring moved the trigger spring up on the trigger bar I am still useing the stock recoil spring and striker spring. If that ammo work in other guns fine I would contact Glock. UPDATE: Many apologies for the late response.
I don't understand how you can even hold the trigger back when you actuate the bolt action to move the slide back and then forward again. E tan e epi tas || |. I actually do that a lot with live cartridges too. Sounds like break-in is needed via more rounds or racking by hand. Might be juuust enough to cause a combo of issues.
