2 posts •Page 1 of 1. I don't think I've ever had a problem with it. Then, as @Randall had suggested, I went for support hand only shooting. I don't know if this could be what's causing your issue as 115 gr. All sharp edges were removed during fitting and slide goes fully into battery with no rounds in the gun or when releasing slide stop on a full magazine. If you're not able to replicate the issue using different grip techniques or shooting support side that should be able to quickly narrow down the problem. That is no where near logical for anyone to do.
I wouldn't be concerned if it were doing it all the time, but it didn't start until after I modified the pistol. Keep checking it by flicking it up. I would think not, and also since they affect the timing of the action I would prefer not to change anything. My current theory is that the connector is bent out too far and is pushing/dragging on the slide's cam surface hence the slide returns to battery when sling-shotted rapidly with full momentum but not when cycled slowly. Either that or your recoil spring or disconnector is bad. Gents: I have an 80% g20 that I finished up recently. The magazines have a "flat shelf" on the follower to push upward on the slide lock after all rounds have been expended. I've used Sellier and Bellot and another brand but can't remember what it is.

I am only offering a possible cause and don't mean to deride your skills or anything. In your case, my guess is that you always rode the slide stop, but it wasn't enough to lock back the slide.
